What’s Hobby Hub, you ask?

Hobby Hub is basically a club where anyone in the Lincoln Community can teach or learn all sorts of awesome skills.

During the last Library Game Day, our Dear Miss Peggy agreed to teach us the fine art of crocheting. A lot of students jumped in, picking up the skill faster than expected. Some of us, however, were a little slower. And, thus, the idea of "Hobby Hub" was born.

Hobby Hub is part of the Library's Academic Success Center, offering students a safe space to relax, de-stress, and explore their creativity, which in turn supports their academic performance.  Offering a variety of activities—from creative arts and crafts to mindfulness practices—the Hobby Hub encourages mental well-being, fosters community, and facilitates skill development.

If you too have a skill that you want to share or learn, come join us at Hobby Hub! Whether it's knitting, painting, the more unique, the better! Share your skills or learn something new with Hobby Hub.

Sign up to attend or lead an activity at the Library's Circulation Desk, or by completing this online form: Hobby Hub Interest Form.
